Ignacio began his career in law enforcement with Miami Dade Police Department (MDPD) where he led key divisions, investigated important cases, trained senior police officers abroad, and managed hundreds of sworn officers and civilian employees. While rising through the ranks, he attended NSU Florida and became a lawyer. After 25 years of honorable service, he retired as the Major of the Special Victims Unit and now devotes himself full-time to law. With over 15 years as an attorney, paired with his extremely unique skill set, Ignacio provides incredible insight from both sides of the law. He’s a brilliant litigator (often referred to as the Litigation King) and specializes in crisis management for civil and criminal matters, sensitive internal corporate and white-collar investigations, corporate governance and compliance, complex civil litigation, and political advocacy.

Willie is an experienced criminal trial and appellate defense attorney. He vigorously represents persons under investigation or accused of crimes in New York, including the federal district courts in Manhattan and Brooklyn. He is available to appear pro hac vice in other federal courts around the country and admitted to the bars of the Second and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Willie is regularly contacted by other attorneys to help prepare and litigate pretrial motions and sentencing objections and memorandum, especially in white-collar, drug trafficking, and money laundering crimes.
